The current mayor of the city is Robert Duffy.
The geographical position of Rochester NY is very significant and it is the east of Buffalo and west of Syracuse. The City is bisected by Genesee River and it lies on the southern shore of Lake Ontario. From the educational point of view, the city is considered as the ideal place because there are many big colleges and universities.
The culture of the Rochester NY is attractive for the people because there are large cultural institutions including Garth Fagan Dance, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Strong National Museum of Play and many arts organizations. The city has highly developed infrastructure and all modes of transportation are available which link Rochester NY with the other cities. The seven sister cities of Rochester NY are known as Sisters International Cities. The beautiful apartments and the buildings enhance the look of the city and the largest building in Rochester NY is Xeros Tower which is 145 meters tall.
